Before publishing

  1. 1
    Finish the builder checks

Test signup, sign-in, sign-out, password recovery if used, and owner/member separation. Create a real record and confirm it stays after a reload. Check phone screens, keyboard access and readable text.

  2. 2
    Connect only services you need

Place each private key in your own app's secure secrets form. AppLab records setup status, not the key. Never put a private key in browser code.

    Check legal and payments

Use working privacy, terms and support links. If charging, test successful and failed payments, access after payment and refunds. Clearly distinguish test transactions from live ones. Verify current fees with each provider.

Publish and verify

  1. 1
    Publish in your builder

Use your builder's publishing controls. Connect your domain following its instructions and wait until HTTPS works. AppLab's own domain is not your customer app's hosting.

  2. 2
    Check the public address

Open the deployed app in a fresh browser, then sign in and repeat the important customer flow. Check links, emails and return addresses use your live domain, not a preview address.

  3. 3
    Keep reporting honest

Confirm your app's reporting connection and manual arrive in Build monitor. If a status is stale or a check fails, investigate it instead of treating it as fresh.

    Release carefully

Keep a backup and a way to roll back. Preserve existing accounts and data during updates. Start with a few real users before promoting widely.
